4AG Robotics Raises $40M Series B to Power the Future of Autonomous Mushroom Farming

Big news:

We’ve raised $40M CAD in Series B funding to scale the global rollout of fully autonomous mushroom harvesting robots.

Harvesting mushrooms is one of the most physically demanding, labour-intensive, and cost-volatile jobs in agriculture. While other crops mechanized decades ago, mushrooms remained dependent on human pickers — until now.

4AG Robotics changes that. Our robots pick, trim, and pack mushrooms autonomously, 24/7, with performance equal to top human harvesters. Built to retrofit directly into standard Dutch mushroom racks, our system drops into existing infrastructure and delivers reliable, commercial-scale results from day one.

We’re already live in Canada, Ireland, and Australia, with new robots going operational in the Netherlands and the United States this year.

While others assist workers or digitize the workflow, we’ve replaced the task entirely — transforming harvesting into a full-stack, software-upgradable system.

This $40M CAD Series B, led by Astanor Ventures and Cibus Capital with support from new investor Voyager Capital and existing investors InBC, Emmertech, BDC Industrial Innovation Fund, Stray Dog Capital, and Seraph Group comes at a moment of global momentum. Growers are scaling up, and the shift to autonomy is no longer a future bet — it’s happening.

Thank you to the customers, engineers, field teams, investors, and believers who’ve helped make this milestone possible.

To team 4AG: this milestone belongs to you. We are just getting started.
